Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi passed the presidency of the G20 group to Brazil at the end of a summit in Delhi. Brazilian President Lula da Silva said global issues should not be allowed to derail the G20’s agenda. Leaders earlier issued a joint declaration, despite wide differences over the war in Ukraine. The document does not mention Russia by name. Heads of state, including Gemany’s Chancellor Olaf Scholz, said they were pleased with the outcome.
